“The 3rd Dimension Limited” is a new company that for the first time in New Zealand will use advanced high accuracy and portable three dimensional laser scanning equipment. This will allow companies that are already using 3D CAD modeling to completely close off the 2D aspects of design and verification by allowing them to directly compare their off tool samples to the original CAD models. This laser scanning system will also for the first time in New Zealand provide quick and accurate reverse engineering facilities. The Director of the company has over 20 years of mechanical design experience. Combining this experience with local and international knowledge of sheet-metal, plastic molders and metal casters suppliers, the concept / prototype modeler and the first article inspection services, “The 3rd Dimension Limited” is the only local company able to offer complete in-house consultation services for the entire design process. |
